This customer in Hartburn village wanted to modernise their garden by upgrading the existing 6ft x 6ft slotted lap panels. The new fence uses 12-inch concrete gravel boards with closed-board fence panels measuring 6ft wide and 5ft high, creating a smart, substantial finish while keeping the overall height practical for the setting.

Closed-board panels are a popular choice when strength, privacy and a traditional timber appearance all matter. Raising the panels on concrete gravel boards helps keep the timber away from damp ground, protects the bottom of the fence and makes future maintenance easier.
