Our Shiplap Tongue & Groove sheds are crafted using high-quality 12mm thick redwood cladding, including the floor and roof panels. Each shed features dressed framing measuring approximately 38mm x 47mm for added strength and stability.
We never use inferior sheet materials, as they simply don’t match the durability and longevity of real timber. Every shed comes fitted with heavy-duty polyester roofing felt as standard.
The floor joists are typically spaced 12″ apart, ensuring a solid and dependable base. All Shiplap T&G sheds receive a premium spirit-based treatment for long-lasting protection.
When choosing shiplap timber cladding, redwood pine is always the superior option over cheaper whitewood spruce. Redwood is far less prone to knots dropping out, giving your shed a cleaner, more attractive finish that stands the test of time.
