Shiplap Tongue and Groove sheds are made from 12mm thick Redwood cladding including the floor and roof. The T&G sheds have framing that is dressed measuring approximately 38mm x 47mm.
We do not use inferior sheet materials as they do not last as long as real timbe and as standard the sheds have heavy duty polyester roofing felt.
Floor joists are normally spaced at 12″ apart. The Shiplap T&G sheds have a high quality spirit based treatment. For Ship Lap timber Shed cladding, always look to use a red wood pine rather than the cheaper white wood spruce as it is less susceptible to knots falling out and therefore gives a better finish.
