Log Lap sheds use robust interlocking redwood timber wall cladding for a substantial finish and dependable weather resistance. The floor and roof are made from tongue-and-groove redwood timber, and the framing measures approximately 38mm x 47mm.
We do not use inferior sheet materials for the floor or roof. As standard, the shed has heavy duty polyester roofing felt and a high quality spirit-based light oak preservative treatment.
For Log Lap timber shed cladding, redwood pine is preferred to cheaper whitewood spruce because it is less susceptible to knots falling out and provides a better finish.
