Our Shiplap Tongue & Groove sheds are built using 12mm thick redwood cladding throughout—including the floor and roof. Each shed features dressed framing measuring approximately 38mm x 47mm for added strength.
We never use inferior sheet materials, as real timber offers far superior durability. Every shed comes with heavy-duty polyester roofing felt as standard.
The floor joists are typically spaced 12″ apart for enhanced stability. All Shiplap T&G sheds receive a high-quality protective treatment.
For the best Shiplap cladding, redwood pine is always recommended over cheaper whitewood spruce—it’s far less prone to knots falling out and provides a smoother, more reliable finish.
